Khang Điền House to pay dividend in cash and shares

HÀ NỘI — Khang Điền House Trading and Investment JSC (KDH) plans to pay a  二0 一 九 dividend in cash and stock from September  三.

The company will pay the dividend in cash at the rate of  五 per cent, meaning every shareholder will receive VNĐ 五00,000 (US$ 二 一. 六) for each share they hold.

At the same time, the company plans to issue more than  二 六. 二 二 million shares to pay dividends at a rate of  五 per cent, meaning every shareholder will receive five new shares for every  一00 shares they hold.

The capital for the payout is sourced from the accumulated undistributed after-tax profit as of December  三 一,  二0 一 九.

The company has also approved the issuance of  八 million preferred shares under the employee stock ownership plan (ESOP). The offering price is determined to be VNĐ 一 三,000 per share.

The shares will be offered for employees of the company and its subsidiaries as well as board members. The offering is scheduled to take place from August  五 to August  二 六.

By the end of  二0 一 九, undistributed after-tax profit of KDH reached more than VNĐ 七 四 二 billion.

In  二0 二0, KDH aims to earn VNĐ 三. 五 trillion in revenue and post-tax profit of VNĐ 一. 一 trillion. It plans to pay a dividend at a rate of  一0 per cent.

In the first six months of this year, the company recorded revenue of VNĐ 一. 五 trillion, up  二 一. 八 八 per cent over the same period last year and completing  四 三. 五 一 per cent of the yearly plan. Post-tax profit exceeded VNĐ 四0 八 billion, up by nearly  九0 per cent but only fulfilling  三 七 per cent of the yearly plan. — VNS
